I first discovered my passion for the mother/baby relationship after the birth my first son.  That first touch changed my life, and set me on the trajectory I am on today; a mission to help smooth out the wrinkles for families who are integrating a new little person into their unit. This can be a challenging and exciting time for all involved, as changes to the family dynamic can be bumpy.  

 

I am especially passionate when it comes to the breastfeeding relationship and the potential issues that may come with it, as this is the foundation for infant health and bonding. Many women envision the experience of feeding their new baby as a blissful and happy stage in their lives.  Sadly, things don't always go as planned.  It is my goal to provide my clients with the tools necessary for a successful start to breastfeeding in spite of any challenges that may arise, and to help address any barriers to breastfeeding, should they come up.

Experience:

I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, IBCLC, with over 8 years working side by side in a clinic with three other lactation consultants, each of whom brought the lessons they have learned throughout their years as nurses and lactation professionals supporting the mother/infant dyad.
